In Their Eyes RP drabbles+Linkin Park (to be continued)

based loosely on the roleplay "In Their Eyes" (I can explain later)

(Robot Boy) Troy Abbort stared out the window of the tower of which he was isolated to. This place was filled with despair, with prestige, with lies. He could not go on. He wanted to change the ways of the Abbort family, of the way his father dealt with the people of his small Massachusetts town. Outside, he heard gunshots and cries of the Minority and the Majority, fighting over what they could no longer remember. He stared out the window. He could not fight, for no one fought for justice, but themselves alone. And all he wanted was change. (The Messenger)

He commanded the Majority. Fire was soon to ravage the land... and he knew it... he wanted to stop it. He was suddenly given inspiration to leave this place and stop these injustices from happening all over again. He ran down the stairs, sometimes taking three at a time, until he reached the ground floor.

Out of nowhere, a needle was stabbed into his arm, and he was forced into unconciousness...

His mother was all he could see... the loving woman... the one who'd been long gone...

(Hands Held High) He awoke in the cells where captives were kept. He heard the shots. And he had to get out. The girl in the cell did not trust him. But both of them managed to escape. They gathered her friends from the forest where they were hidden. He took a waiflike girl on the other girl's horse, and the cell girl's friends joined them. When others were safely hidden, he and the girl, Taryn, saved the innocent from the grounds.

But they could do nothing to prevent the "leader", Troy's own father, from setting their town ablaze... (Iridescent)

Troy, Taryn, Kimura, Hikaro, Cortar, Janie, and Mahri stared out at the ruins that were becoming their town, stunned by the losses they had all just experienced. And they were only a few of the victims. Families were dashed in a matter of minutes.

Kimura couldn't stop herself from collapsing to the ground in agony, with no way to comfort her. Her father and brother had been killed in that fire. Her sister, Janie, was in shock. She'd lost her father and brother as well. But Tyler hadn't been just a brother. He had been her twin, literally. At 18 years old, they'd lived their entire lives together, connected in a way that no one else could understand... and now he was gone... like her mother and father before him. She knelt down next to Kimura, and cried with her sister, the only family she had left in the world.

They had all lost so much in the past... and more loss was not simply something that they could just shake off. But they would have to. They would have to let it go, in order to stop this war. If they were to be the saviors of this country, they would have to let everything go.

(Figure .09)
Troy stared at the dagger. The blood stained the tip... in his mind, there was his mother, blood flowing freely from her chest. The knife in his father's hand. Troy's fists trembled with the memory. He remembered this so-called father's fists, slamming into him... remembered what stairs felt like when one was shoved down them...

He looked at the blood-stained tip of the blade now. Had he truly just driven it into this innocent young man? His mind had been so filled with... rage... familiar in the eyes of Alexander Abbort. He could not believe what he'd just done to Cortar. Both their breathing was labored... he could not believe what he'd done...

He WAS just like him... just like the tyrant.

(Breaking the Habit) Terra stared at the bottles, of pills, of alcohol, of everything, the other substances around her... these things she'd done, she kept a secret. She had to keep it from Alana, of course, the apartment's team mom. She had to keep it from Shane, because he'd take them all from her and use them himself. She kept the secrets from everyone in the tiny apartment of runaways. She traveled to the dealer all of the time... but she couldn't hide it any longer. Shane's fists slammed her into this room to drown out the pain, but she would do this no longer. No more secrets. No more habits. She opened the window, and looked down the three stories...

(The Catalyst); essentially what I picture as the "credits" to the end of ITE...

They stood at the edge of the Majority capital of Boston. The leaders had been defeated, and at such a cost... but they'd finally done it. They'd finally succeeded in ending this. History had been changed because of these teens. Finally, peace and freedom could be achievable for all of them. And none of them had done this alone.

Troy grasped Taryn's hand, staring at the sun going down. A sunset like the first time they'd realized that Majority and Minority did not have to be seperated. Kimura stared at the sky, imagining Hikaro somewhere on that jagged horizon. None of them were ever alone. The group of mismatched teens had finally proven to the world that those the world belonged could never accomplish anything could finally live in peace together. Troy then took Kate's hand, and Taryn on his other side, took Kimura's. Kimura took Janie's, while she took Kuzai's. Kate took Jared's hand, who took Mahri's hand, who in turn, took Kyle's. He then took his sister Amie's hand. They were Minority, they were Majority. They were young, they were older. They had lost so much, and yet gained so much. They had survived.

They were a family, and would never lose each other, no matter what the world threw at them.
